Sometime last year all Lancaster County Municipalities that did not have their own Sub-division and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) were informed by Lancaster County that they would have to adopt their own. Upon municipal adoption the County Ordinance would then be repealed. On March 16, 2016 Colerain Township adopted their SALDO.

What does this mean? If you are interested in doing any kind of project such as a Lot Add-on, Centerline Separation, Sub-division, Minor Land Development, etc. you will need to apply at the Township Building. The County will also look at your plan one time and their are fees involved for both the County and the Township.

We are still in the process of combining our Table of Contents and Appendices into one PDF with Bookmarks for more convenient viewing and printing. For now you may view them separately.

This SALDO is yet another new thing for us to learn; your patience is appreciated very much.
